DAY 1: Microsoft Office Word
The training session kicked off with Fosad’s Training Cordinator, Tolulope Osho, welcoming the participants, inducting them and giving an introduction to the training.
The training session was facilitated by Mr. Adeyemi Adedotun (A network Engineer with several years of experience) and he introduced the participants to Elements and Basics of Microsoft Word Office and it was an interactive class with real life examples cited.
At the end of the first day, the participants had been given a good foundation to build the rest of the training days on and several work exercises were given as a form of assessment.
DAY 2: Microsoft Office Excel
On the second day, the participants were introduced to Microsoft Excel by specialist Mr. Philip Egbo. The facilitator for Day One had done well with the participants and as such, Philip had a good foundation which he built upon to deliver a solid introduction to Excel.
DAY 3: Microsoft Office Excel (Continuation)
This training was a continuation of the previous day’s session. Having treated the foundation the day before, Philip delved deeper into the more complex subjects in Microsoft Excel 2010.
DAY 4: Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Outlook
The training session took off at 8:30am. The facilitators, Alex Akhigbe (PowerPoint) and Adeshina Johnson (Outlook) were introduced by one of Fosad’s Training coordinators, Mr Tunde Samuel
The training commenced as planned for the first session, Microsoft PowerPoint, and the facilitator taught the participants to compress all they had learnt on the previous days into PowerPoint slides and they did a good job with this task.
The afternoon session kicked off at 1:30pm with Adeshina introducing the participants to Microsoft Outlook.
The training came to a close on the 28th of February 2014 at about 4:45pm with a closing address by Tunde.
The participant were excited to have been part of the training sessions and admitted that they learnt a lot in the 4 days the program lasted. They also look forward to more training sessions in the future.
