Dr. (Mrs.) Mary Ade-Fosudo is an accomplished professional in Business Support. She has had several years of relevant experience garnered from providing business support services to several blue-chip and multinational enterprises. Her specialties include Human resource consulting, country briefing, managing expatriate client relationships, real estate, operating logistics and client surveys. She was a former specialist and pioneer staff within the established business support unit at Arthur Andersen (now KPMG professional Services).
Mary’s 15-year career at Arthur Andersen gave her a broad understanding of the dynamics of business support and varied responsibilities, with substantial exposure to the numerous challenges of an ever-changing business environment – she handled these very well and excelled in her role with an inexorable positive attitude towards work. Her experience and natural attitude in tackling challenges head-on helped immensely in molding her into the accomplished consultant and entrepreneur that she is today.
After she left Arthur Andersen, she co-founded Fosad Consulting Limited in 1999, a specialist business support firm in the heart of Lagos and Port-Harcourt and having significant presence in Abuja, the capital of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The firm’s clients include an amiable and impressive list of high performing brands in the banking, financial, telecoms, construction, oil and gas, power and energy, and other commercial sectors. She is currently the Managing Director of FOSAD Consulting Ltd.

Mary sits on the board of the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC); sits as an executive board member with Hotel Bon Voyage and also holds an amiable position in the NACC as the Vice Chairman of its Trade Mission Committee. Her hard work and contributions in both the business and community arenas was recognized both at home and abroad. She received an honorary doctorate degree from the University of Marlborough, USA.
She was instrumental in bringing to market; the Bureau of Public Enterprises’ (BPE) Investor’s Forum aimed at privatizing NITEL and its constituent business units. Her inputs were of immense value to the Bureau as she utilized her vast network to bring onboard genuine investors from across Europe and related continents; all of which she accomplished within a week! Following that Forum, the Bureau, via a bidding process, has since shortlisted the successful bidder to commence operations.
Following her achievements in the management and development of the Business Support Services landscape in Africa, she was honored with the Grand Award for Productivity in Africa, and was recognized in 2008 with the Kwame Nkrumah Africa Leadership award for her outstanding endeavors in her chosen career. Following-on from these achievements, in 2009 she was inducted into the Institute of Directors (IoD) – an institute that offers the benefit of networking with over 85,000 IoD business executives worldwide.
She also received an honorary fellow award of the Institute of Administrative Management of Nigeria, the National Administrative Management Merit Award, and the Award of Excellence in Business Management from the Institute, the Woman of Merit Gold Award of PSR Magazine and the Achievers Award of the Catholic Women Organization. She was honored in 2015 in Dubai with the Africa Female Leadership Award, whilst being inducted into the Global Women Leaders Hall of Fame, a prestigious platform that recognizes the symbol of female achievement globally.
Mary is blessed with five adorable children and enjoys mentoring, counseling, and doing charitable work.
